Background and Discussion:
Harris County Precinct One (PCT 1) requires use of secured access online text messaging platform with the capability of mass text communication by SMS and MMS protocols for outreach and communications needs. The communications will provide PCT 1 constituents notifications and updates of important and critical information that serves the everyday needs of the Harris County residents, including but not limited to, new Harris County initiatives, programs, community engagements and announcements, emergency notifications, etc.
Additionally, PCT 1 requires the ability to collaborate between PCT 1 departments and other Harris County departments to design and execute text message campaigns to share important program and service information that is of interest to the Harris County population (Gun Buybacks, Voting Information, Guaranteed Income).
