Background and Discussion:
On April 10, 2025, Commissioners Court approved a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Budget Proposals. These procedures included possible budget offsets set at 10% of a department's CLS Budget. The following departments were non-compliant with Court's policy, and OMB recommends that their budgets be reduced by 10%, per the SOP.
OMB will work with the CAO to ensure these offsets comply with all state laws.
