Request for approval to execute an interlocal agreement with Pasadena Economic Development Corporation (Pasadena EDC) for the proposed non-standard maintenance features for design and construction of a closed storm sewer system on Fairmont Parkway, from Burke Road to 500 feet east of Preston Avenue, and the county will continue to maintain ROW and Roadway and Pasadena EDC will maintain all aspects of drainage including boxes, laterals, inlets and manholes located in Harris County Precinct 2.

Background and Discussion:
The Pasadena Economic Development Corporation is striving to improve drainage in this community by
providing design and construction of drainage improvements using Atlas 14 storm frequency. This will improve
public safety and transportation. The agreement is required in order to allow for the Corporation to assume
responsibility for the design, construction, and maintenance of drainage improvements.
Expected Impact:
The proposed project will improve drainage for surrounding community.
