Background and Discussion:
The DRO's Visitation Center received the stuffed animals from the donors on April 28, 2025, prior to Commissioners Court approval, but have not been provided to children. Upon approval at the next Commissioners Court meeting the stuffed animals will be distributed during a child's intake interview. Each child may select a stuffed animal to accompany them home or bring back to the Center on weekends.

Expected Impact:

The stuffed animals have a estimated retail value of $660.00 and will provide comfort to children visiting at our site.
