Background and Discussion:
This change in contract is needed to complete the construction contract for this project. Brookglen Stormwater Detention Basin includes the construction of a dry bottom basin, a maintenance path, and a floatable screen system. The purpose of this contract change is to extend the pay item quantities for the concrete channel lining, granular fill, concrete interceptor structure, remove and dispose concrete channel lining, remove and dispose of driveway and sidewalks, and remove and dispose of roadway pavement and subgrade. Also included is the addition of the pay item, cement stabilized sand to replace the lime stabilized subgrade agreed to by Engineer.
