Background and Discussion:

February 6, 2025 Commissioners Court approved a $2500 salary increase for eligible employees. The first payment went into effective January 11, 2025, and was first reflected on the January 31, 2025 paycheck. The two grant funded employees (position #10025243 and #10025096) were previously paid via Fund 2601 but are now paid via Fund 1040 effective April 19, 2025. Each employee should receive $384 in backpay (i.e. 4 pay periods x 80 hours x $1.20 = $384) The retroactive would count towards pay periods January 11th, January 28th, February 8th and February 22nd, 2025). Two employees received the increase effective March 8, 2025.

Expected Impact:

No impact to general fund.
