Background and Discussion:
Spring Branch Creek is located in central Harris County in Precinct 3 and is owned by HCFCD. This creek provides stormwater drainage for the Spring Branch and Spring Valley Village area and conveys it to Buffalo Bayou. An inspection performed in 2019 revealed damage to the concrete at many expansion joints, voids beneath the concrete, and damaged outfalls. This project is intended to repair these items and restore the channel to the original condition. This project is funded by Tax Revenue, FCD

Expected Impact:
The intent of this contract is to rehabilitate the concrete lining of the channel and related outfalls to repair damage and return them to the original design conditions.

Alternative Options:
The alternative is not to proceed with the project. This would result in the channel continuing to deteriorate.
