Background and Discussion:
The project includes reconstruction of Wallisville Road - from 965 feet west of Garth Road to 1,400 feet west of
North Main Street. Reconstruction includes an upgrade of the roadway from a two-lane asphalt road with open
ditches to a 4-lane concrete curb and gutter boulevard with a 32' raised median.
This change in contracts includes:
* Cost of furnish and installation of reflectors on low profile concrete barriers. ($3,000.00).
* Time extension for various utility conflicts (CPE, communication line, unknown utility lines. (60 days).
* Cost of overrunning of cement stabilized sand bid item for second half of the main lane in front of driveways ($9,000.00)
* Cost of overrunning of bid item number 28, 99 and 165 based on the actual field installation. ($132,190.00).
* Cost of furnish and installation of cast in place conflict manhole at CenterPoint gas line ($5,500.00).
