Background and Discussion:
Professional On-Call Engineering Services is needed for water and wastewater projects at various locations within Harris County, Precinct 1. This amendment adds a survey subconsultant and increases the amount of the On-Call Professional Services Agreement by $669,590.00, for a total of $909,590.00. The increase in funding is for the design of the replacement of the failing water system in Alexander Deussen Park.

Expected Impact:
The failing water system in Alexander Deussen Park can be re-designed and replaced.

Alternative Options:
If the increase is not approved, then the failing water system will not be replaced, and the Precinct will continue to incur high maintenance costs due to numerous water leaks of the aging water system.

County Strategic Plan Goal: 2. Connect our community with safe, reliable, equitably distributed, and well-maintained infrastructure.
