Background and Discussion:
The proposed project will enhance the stormwater conveyance by adding a large subsurface box culvert and improving earthen roadside ditches particularly along Mile Drive and Sandman Avenue. Improvements to a proposed pumped stormwater detention basin is also scoped for the project. The feasibility study determined that local drainage issues were due to siltation, low capacity, and limited conveyance capacity across the SJRA canal. Priortization score for this project is 2nd quartile and a score of 5.02. The project is to receive funding from the 2023 CDBG-MIT Program.

This contract is for the preparation of the construction package for the Barret Station neighborhood drainage improvements. The contact also covers survey, geotechnical, environmental and SUE services that are supported by MWBE/subconsultants....
