Background and Discussion:
Modification to the Fort Bend Parkway Extension to convert to an all-electronic toll facility consisting of grading, base, continuously reinforced pavement, embankment, new tolling infrastructure, removal of existing toll plaza infrastructure, computerized traffic management system, ITS, signing and striping.
On December 10, 2024, Commissioners Court approved to advertise for Bid proposal.
Expected Impact:
This construction contract will provide the necessary improvements to maintain the HCTRA roadway and facilities; to ensure that the toll road system provides reliable and safe transportation to the traveling public.
Funding for this request will come from the Toll Road Authority under the BFH Budget category.
