Background and Discussion:
This is a road project, the scope consists of extension of Birnam Wood Boulevard from north of Hickorygate Drive to south of Indigo Forest Boulevard, standard four (4) lane concrete boulevard in 100-ft right of way with 32-ft raised medians. This project expansion needs the acquisition of some parcels as part of the visibility design per Harris County Traffic Standards.

Expected Impact:
The acquisition of this parcel will ensure that Harris County has the proposed ROW needed to comply with Harris County Traffic Standards and Design documents to improve the existing 2-lane Boulevard to a 4-lane Boulevard.

Alternative Options:
If this request is not approved, the project will not be sent to bid due the missing ROW, and no construction will be initiated there...
