Background and Discussion:
The project will construct approximately 10,750 linear feet of drainage improvements. This project will help mitigate flood hazards within the Barwood Subdivision.
Expected Impact:
The fiscal impact is $9,204,043.00 CDBG-MIT funds, however, subrecipients are only required to spend 15% or approximately $1,386,006.45, of the of the benchmark by August 31, 2025. This project seeks to reduce flood risks and strengthen resiliency in Harris County by alleviating property and structural damages with improved drainage which will benefit 622 persons of which, 54.66% are LMI.
