Background and Discussion:
Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) acts as the lead agency responsible for the administration
of funds received from the Volkswagen State Environmental Mitigation Trust (Trust) for projects that reduce
nitrogen oxides (NOX) in the environment. This grant will allow Precinct One to purchase low emission vehicles and build the infrastructure to support the vehicles.
