Background and Discussion:
Harris County Precinct One Administration Office and Service Center is a new two-story, approximately 37,000 sf building located at 2787 El Camino Street. The building will house the administrative leadership departments that serve the needs of the surrounding Harris County Precinct One community, and a well-equipped Multi-purpose Center that will accommodate the needs of the Precinct and its constituents.

This request is for permission to release retained compensation for the completion of the original contract scope and change orders completed to date.

Expected Impact:
This court action would allow the Contractor to bill for due retained compensation for work performed and completed.

Alternative Options:
Should we not move forward with the action, retainage will continue to be withheld on work contractors completed.
