Background and Discussion:
Precinct 3 is requesting the Office of the County Engineer to enter into an agreement for professional engineering services to provide design of mill & overlay maintenance with updated pavement markings of approx. 3 miles of roadway for following segments: Hargrave Rd: from SH 249 to Falba Rd (5,200ft /.99mi) - Dowdell Rd: from Kuykendahl Rd. to F.M. 2920 (9,900ft /1.9mi).
Expected Impact:
The maintenance project will improve the road quality for the community in the specified area.
Alternative Options:
Without this project, the road cannot be maintained properly. The goal is to provide better mobility and/or eliminate hazards from the roadway as requested by the Precinct.
