Background and Discussion:
Precinct 3 is requesting the Office of the County Engineer to enter into an agreement for professional engineering services to provide design of full reconstruction with updated pavement markings of approx. 5.6 miles of roadway for following segments: Reidland Rd: From FM 2100 to Miller Wilson Rd (1.25mi) - Holy Rd: From FM 1942 to 3352 East and South of Seaberg (1.85mi) - Crosby Eastgate Rd: From County line to Lakeside Rd (0.95mi) - Crosby Eastgate Rd: From Lakeside Rd to Lord Rd (1.55mi).
Expected Impact:
The maintenance project will improve the road quality for the community in the specified area.
Alternative Options:
Without this project, the road cannot be maintained properly. The goal is to provide better mobility and/or eliminate hazards from the roadway as requested by the Precinct.
