Background and Discussion:
Request to update one temporary/part-time position (Mosquito Surveillance Technician) to regular/full-time position to hire an Ultra Low Volume Spray Truck Driver. The ULV Driver position plays a crucial role in enhancing our operational efficiency, allowing us to better serve the residents of Harris County by preventing and controlling mosquito-borne diseases. Having this position on a full-time capacity will enhance our ability for the safe and effective application of products to manage mosquito populations based on surveillance data.

Expected Impact: The increase in labor costs from moving the position from part time to full time can be absorbed into our current general fund budget.
