Background and Discussion:
A new term contract is needed to find a qualified vendor to provide a digital radiography system with maintenance and support for the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The new term contract will be setup for one (1) initial year with four (4) one-year options to renew.
Expected Impact:
The digital radiography system shall be used as an efficient means to provide full-body skeletal radiographs and identify skeletal abnormalities, individualizing characteristics for identification purposes, foreign objects including bullets, bullet fragments, shotgun pellets, slugs and firearm evidence, knife blades, partial knife blades and other metallic and radiopaque objects for the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
