Request for discussion and possible action to amend the bylaws of the Harris County Hispanic Cultural Heritage Commission.

Background and Discussion:
The proposed amendments have been made at the Commission's request and in consultation with the County Attorney's Office and the Boards & Commissions Office. Article II (sections A - D) is amended to increase the size of the commission membership from 5 to 7 voting members; 5 of the members remain court-nominated and appointed members (1 per office), and the additional two positions (6 and 7) are commission-recommended and court-approved. Additionally, Article II (section L) is amended to clarify posting requirements for advisory boards/commissions.
