Background and Discussion:
Per the amended commission bylaws to be considered by the court on Feb. 6, 2025, the commission consists of 7 members. Each Court member nominates and appoints one member to the commission (positions 1-5), and the commission recommends additional nominees to fill positions 6 and 7, subject to the court's approval. Position 6 will serve an initial one-year term, and position 7 will serve an initial two-year term. Thereafter, all positions serve a two-year term.
