Background and Discussion:
The project includes construction of intersection improvement for Vickery Street at Lauder Road. The proposed improvements include alignment of the intersection of Vickery Street at Lauder Road, widening of the roads in all directions to construct turn lanes, full width concrete replacement along Vickery Street, and a traffic signal. Additional improvements include the construction of sidewalk, ADA ramps, and bus pads.
The removal of a streetlight was necessary to facilitate the re-alignment of the intersection within the project area. The existing streetlight conflicted with the planned re-alignment and needed to be removed to ensure proper layout and alignment according to design specifications. This change in contract will add additional amount of $3,552.00 with no additional calendar days.
