Background and Discussion:
Spring Branch Creek is located in central Harris County in Precinct 3 and is owned by HCFCD. This creek provides stormwater drainage for the Spring Branch and Spring Valley Village area and conveys it to Buffalo Bayou. An inspection performed in 2019 revealed damage to the concrete at many expansion joints, voids beneath the concrete, and damaged outfalls. This project is intended to repair these items and restore the channel to the original condition. This project is funded by bond CI-18.

On October 28, 2024, a total of five (5) bids were received for the construction project. After evaluating the bids, HCFCD recommends that no award be made and that the project be readvertised

Expected Impact:
Readvertise the project so the lowest cost responsible bidder can be awarded the project.
