Background and Discussion:
The project is located in Baytown, TX, approximately 1.2 miles south of Interstate Highway 10 and 0.1 miles west of the Harris County line. Cedar Bayou Park East and West drains by roadside ditches with some intermittent storm sewers. The major drainage system collector is Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) channel Q13-00-00 which drains the neighborhood from Sjolander to the outfall location at Bayou Boulevard. Expected Impact:
This project seeks to reduce flooding and strengthen resiliency in Harris County by assisting in the alleviation of structural flood damage to homes in the Cedar Park East and West Subdivision. No impact on project schedule, staffing or cost anticipated.
