Background and Discussion:
Harris County Commissioners Court previously approved the Annual Action Plans (AAP). The Annual Action Plans, which are a consolidation of the Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG). The following HOME Funded project are being amended:
2021 and 2023 HOME Funds:
* Project 2021-039 Harris County CSD- Harris County Housing Program (Countywide): Deobligate $1,595,625.50 in PY2021 HOME Funds. Total project funding, including previously awarded amounts, will be $0.00.
* Project 2023-008 Harris County Single-Family Housing Program (Countywide): Obligate $1,595,625.50 in PY21 HOME Funds to 2023-008. Total project funding, including previously awarded amounts, will be $11,617,221.96
Expected Impact:
Approval is required to: Return unspent funds from completed project. Total amount deobligated includes $1,595,625.50 in PY2021 HOME Funds. Deobligated funds will be allocated to 2023-008 Harris County Single-Family Housing Program (Countywide) to support the Single Family New Construction project: HC CSD SFNC- Connorvale.
