Background and Discussion:
Amendment No. 3 will allow continuity of construction project management and inspection staff augmentation for Flood Control District Projects Countywide. This amendment will allow current staff augmentation to complete White Oak Bayou Federal Project and other current assignments by adding a year and $1M to the agreement.

Expected Impact:
This amendment will utilize funding currently budgeted for this purpose. The Flood Control District benefits from continuity of staff augmentation handling large project assignments through to completion.

Alternative Options:
The alternative to approving this item would be to select a new staff augmentation firm for contract or hire Flood Control District staff project managers, which would result in significant delays while new staff augmentation is procured and trained, or new personnel hired and trained. This would present a significant negative impact given current staff shortages.
