Background and Discussion:
Existing parks maintenance facility consisting of two (2) steel buildings on concrete pads erected in about 1970's. One of the buildings has severe deterioration to the structural framing occurring at the base of the rigid steel frame. Existing office staff amenities of breakroom and restrooms are outdated and in poor condition. Asbestos has been identified in the facility and needs to be addressed. The site condition has ponding issues with stagnate water after rainfall.
Changes included here involve: Adding electrical motors to newly installed overhead doors at the facility, per Owner request. This feature was not originally included in the project's base bid.
Expected Impact:
These changes allow the contractor to bill for required changes resulting from unforeseen conditions and Owner Requests.
