Background and Discussion:
The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is the regional organization through which local governments consider issues and cooperate in solving area wide problems. Harris County Commissioners Court may appoint two (2) Representatives and two (2) Alternates to the H-GAC General Assembly and Board of Directors. Appointees must be elected officials of the Commissioner's Court. Terms begin on January 1st and expire on December 31st of each year.
