Background and Discussion:
This Utility Agreement will allow for the removal of abandoned line by Flood Control District contractors that are in direct conflict with the Mud Gully channel conveyance improvements, (HCFCD Unit A120-00-00). This project occurs in the 3rd quartile under the 2022 Prioritization Framework approved by Commissioners Court.
Expected Impact:
A concrete panel has been left unfinished by the construction contractor to allow for this utility adjustment. This agreement will allow the construction to be completed and for the contract to be closed out.
Alternative Options:
The alternative to approving this item would prevent the construction from closing out as designed, which would result in the project being out of compliance with the project description outlined in the Project Partnership Agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
