Background and Discussion:
Houston Community College will convert TCOLE Basic Peace Officer Course completion hours to college credit hours for Basic Peace Officer cadets completing the basic training program through the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) Training Academy.
The designated TCOLE Training Coordinator within the HCSO will work with HCC to facilitate the ILA for proper implementation and credit for Sheriff's Office employees.
