Background and Discussion:
Harris County Housing and Community Development procured the Translation Services and Remote or Onsite Interpretation Services to connect limited English Proficiency Customers with services provided. Translation Services will be provided in four (4) critical languages spoken in Harris County including Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Arabic on an as-needed basis while keeping tone and context intact.
Expected Impact:
The materials intended for translation will range from written text to audio, video presentation and other modes of communication as needed. All documents, flyers, brochures, or website content will be translated to keep households informed in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Arabic languages about program services.
