Background and Discussion:
In 2021, the U.S. Treasury allocated $915.5 million in Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds to Harris County. Since then, Commissioners Court has approved over $970 million in program spend across over 90 projects. ARPA PMO team members are dedicated to program administration, compliance, and financial management. Updating the position funding source to FLEX Fund 1040 will ensure the team can continue supporting the portfolio through program closeout after the December 2026 expenditure deadline, ensuring programs comply with US Treasury regulations. This request does not require additional funding.
