Background and Discussion:
Commissioners Court created the Harris County LGBTQIA+ Commission in June 2023 as an advisory board to the Court with a focus on recommendations to improve economic, social, health, and safety outcomes for LGBTQIA+ residents in Harris County. Over the next months, commission members were appointed, and they began holding regular bi-monthly meetings. This is the first Annual Report submitted by the LGBTQIA+ Commission.
