Background and Discussion:
The project scope is a new addition to the existing building for an assembly space with restrooms, storage, required detention pond, and parking lot addition with fire lane striping. This change in contract entails providing temporary cooling to protect books from mold and mildew. This will be done by demolishing and reinstalling duct and insulation required for 9th zone, and temporary AC Rental Units. Additional 43 calendar days.

Expected Impact:
This change order will achieve protecting assets in the library, saving the county from potentially needing to spend money to replace damaged books or equipment. This change allows the completion of the project in accordance with the original intent of the project.
