Background and Discussion: These salary supplements are intended as an incentive for future work and to retain and maintain qualified staff. These incentives are particularly important this year given the ongoing challenges the staff faced and continues to face as a result of the pandemic. Additionally, for decades of these supplements have been paid in one lump sum instead of over time, which is an additional incentive for our staff.
Expected Impact: There will be no fiscal impact to the current general fund budget. Fiscal impact will be to the Judicial Maintenance Fund also known as the Probate Court Support Fund 2161.
