Background and Discussion:
Harris County is required to have an independent annual audit of all state seized and forfeited assets held by
the County. These services are to maintain the County's compliance with Tex. Crim. Proc. Code Ann. 59.06(g).
agreement with the County is up for renewal for the time period of 1/26/25 - 1/25/26. This is the Fourth
renewal of a five-year agreement with Whitley Penn LLC for these external audit services.
