Background and Discussion:
This continuation of services agreement request allows for design services for Phase 2 Compartment 2 of the Lauder Stormwater Detention Basin. Construction of this phase will be funded via the CDBG-DR program. Phase 2 Compartment 2 of the Lauder Stormwater Detention Basin project is a component of the regional plan for the Greens Bayou Mid-Reach Study (Montgomery, 2007) that is designed to provide stormwater detention storage to reduce flooding that drains to Greens Bayou. This project occurs in the 3rd quartile under the 2022 Prioritization Framework.

Expected Impact:
The expected impact of this project is to mitigate future Flood Control District channel conveyance improvements for Greens Mid Reach and P138-01-01, mitigate Harris County Recovery and Resiliency neighborhood drainage improvement projects in High Meadows and Castlewood, and mitigate a future Harris County Housing & Community Development low-moderate housing project for Connorvale in Aldine.
