Background and Discussion:
On October 23, 2018, Commissioners Court approved an Agreement with Woolpert, Inc. in the amount of $1,136,000 for project wide drainage design services for the Sam Houston Tollway (SHT) and SH 225 direct connector project.
The original Agreement is being amended to increase payment from $1,136,000 to $1,546,000.
The December 18, 2018, Commissioners Court authorized negotiations with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for the design and construction of two partial interchanges - Tomball Tollway at Grand Parkway and Sam Houston Tollway at State Highway 225. On February 23, 2023, the Texas Transportation Commission authorized the connection of the Sam Houston Tollway at State Highway 225 partial interchange and the development of an agreement between Harris County and TxDOT.
