Background and Discussion:
In order to mitigate flooding issues within the Sierra Ranch and Stonefield Terrace Sec 3 subdivision, it is proposed to increase the capacity of the existing storm sewer system within the subdivision up to the outfall channel, upgrading existing inlets, providing additional inlets to take in the overland flow through the streets as well as providing additional surface detention to provide relief to the overloaded trunk sewer. The proposed improvements will reduce structural flooding in the subdivision and ponding within the roadways during 10 and 100-year storm event.

Expected Impact:
Construction phase services by the Engineer of Record supports construction team with technical advice and quality assurance. The fiscal impact for this project will come from the 1080 Funding for the Recovery and Resiliency Division subdivision projects with the long-term goal of reducing drainage costs in the future. No impact on project schedule or cost anticipated.

Alternative Options:
If no action is taken, the engineer of record will not be accessible for support through the construction of the project.
