Background and Discussion:
The purpose of this amendment is to revise Section X, Federal Award Information, to continue to perform activities in support of services funded by the Public Health Emergency Preparedness ("PHEP") Cooperative Agreement from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ("CDC") to advance public health preparedness for the Cities Readiness Initiative.
Expected Impact:
It provides the coordination of training and resources to support Harris County's ability to respond to public health emergencies. Emergency preparedness planning and exercises help to identify gaps in emergency plans and procedures that, when addressed, will improve the readiness of Harris County.
