Background and Discussion:
In September of 2020, Harris County Commissioners Court - acting on the recommendation of the Flood Control District, the Office of the County Engineer, the Harris County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, the Harris County Toll Road Authority, the Harris County Community Services Department, and Harris County Public Health - approved the development of Harris County's first Flood Resilience Plan to establish a vision, set goals for the future of the County, and develop actions and implementation strategies.
