Background and Discussion:
Although an end date for support has not yet been established, the current One Solution CAD/RMS system has
reached end of life. In February 2022 Harris County Law Enforcement leadership unanimously voted in support
of upgrading the system to the new Central Square Enterprise solution. On March 8th, 2022, Harris County
Commissioners Court approved the funding of CIP project - NI019 LAW ENF CAD/RMS REPLACEMENT (22-
1704).
Expected Impact:
Migration to the new Central Square Enterprise solution allows Harris County to take full advantage of the
latest software technology. These enhancements will result in the following gains for all Law Enforcement
operations:
? Increased data sharing through system integrations and regionalization.
? Reduced costs associated with deployment and endpoint device management.
? Greater flexibility with Web-Based interface capable of operating on multiple devices and operating
systems.
