Background and Discussion:
Harris County Commissioners Court previously approved the Annual Action Plans (AAP). The Annual Action Plans, which are a consolidation of the Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG). The following CDBG Funded project are being amended:
2021 CDBG Funding:
Project 2021-024 Harris County Pct. 1- West Nelda and Sanitary Sewer Improvements-Deobligate $157,080.00 in 2021 CDBG Entitlement Funds. Total project Entitlement funding, including previously awarded amounts, will be $0.00.
Expected Impact:
Approval of this item allows Harris County Housing and Community Development Department to close out project 2021-024 Pct. 1- West Nelda and Sanitary Sewer Improvement and repurpose the CDBG funding to another infrastructure project that needs additional funding to meet the bidding shortfall.
