Background and Discussion:
The original Lease Agreement commenced on or about January 31, 1989. Harris Health System is undergoing renovations at LBJ Hospital, which displaced the physical therapy group. The physical therapy group relocated to 2015 Thomas. This Sixth Amendment will extend the lease term for three (3) months to allow Harris Health System to complete renovations at LBJ Hospital so the physical therapy group can move back to LBJ.
Expected Impact:
This agreement will extend the term through September 30, 2024. Harris Health System will no longer require use of 2015 Thomas when the physical therapy group returns to LBJ.
Alternative Options:
The County could choose to not extend the term.
