Background and Discussion:
Evergreen Villas is in Northeast Harris County, Texas, Precinct 1. The subdivision is mainly composed of single-family homes. The residents have experienced structural flooding during several recent flood events. Approximately 37 homes were reported to have flooded during Hurricane Harvey. The purpose of this project
is to reduce flooding for homes. The proposed solution includes upgrading storm sewers and adding a
detention pond. This contract includes construction services for the construction phase.
The Change in contract request includes new items for the following:
* Reimbursement for Payment to CenterPoint Street Lights - Added a new Line item "Reimbursement for Payment to CenterPoint Street Lights" with an additional cost of $986.00. Reimbursement for the contractor's payment to CNPE SL for the relocation of cables in conflict with a proposed manhole.
