Background and Discussion:
On June 4, Commissioners Court unanimously approved the Harris County 5-Yr Financial Plan. During the presentation it was discussed that assistance would be needed to implement and track/report on the implementation of the recommendations. On June 25, Court approved the plan to contract with BCG for this role and the agreement for services is now being presented for approval.
Expected Impact:
The hiring on a contract basis of a Director, OMB Special Projects will allow OMB to implement and report on the recommendations on a timely manner, beginning August 7, 2024.
