Background and Discussion:
Mr. Nguyen is a nominee recommended by the current members of the LGBTQIA+ Commission, and will serve as an Interim Member, Position 3, as provided by Article 3, Section 1, of the LGBTQIA+ Commission Bylaws. Appointees selected as Interim Members serve a one (1) year term, but otherwise retain all regular commission member authorities.
