Background and Discussion:
The Family Planning and Healthy Texas Women programs provided the funds to create a Healthy Texas Woman Patient Navigator position that will allow Harris County Public health clinics to continue offering high quality, comprehensive, low-cost and accessible family planning and reproductive health services to low income and uninsured populations.
Expected Impact:
The expected impact will be an additional $21,917 in personnel expense for the remainder of the current fiscal year and $93,975 annually. The additional cost will be absorbed by existing grant budget.
