Request for approval of the first amendment to an agreement with the City of Galena Park to modify the Scope of Services and project budget in the additional amount of $772,000 in CDBG -DR funds for an overall project budget total of $7,377,672 for the Sanitary Sewer Improvements project.

Background and Discussion:
To address the inflow and infiltration issues within Galena Park by rehabilitating lift stations to include wet will structures, mechanical pumps, pipes, and valves and electrical motor controls centers and completing all associated site work as replacing sanitary sewer lines. Construction shall take place at various location in the City of Galena Park in Precinct Two.
The additional funding is being reallocated from unused design funds from the Sunbelt Fairgreen and High Meadow Sewer Improvements and HOPE Clinic projects.
Expected Impact:
No fiscal impact as the funds are being reallocated. The improvement drainage systems and rehabilitate the lift stations and street repairs throughout the City of Galena Park. This project will benefit 10,800 persons of which 54.94% are low to moderate-income with drainage improvements. This project is in in Precinct Two.
