Background and Discussion:
Public Health Services is seeking approval to update seven (7) temporary/part-time Technician positions to regular full-time positions. These positions will be used in the Mosquito and Vector Control (MVC) Division to increase efficiency in operations in order to help Harris County residents by preventing and controlling mosquito-borne diseases. We seek to achieve this operational change by deleting twelve (12) PCN's as follows: 10005465, 10005700, 10005709, 10005710, 10005716, 10005702, 10005701, 10005703, 10005711, 10005712, 10005705, 10005713.
Expected Impact:
The expected impact is an increase in personnel expense of $3,910 for the remainder of the current fiscal year and $25,409 on an annual basis. This position update will be funded by existing general funds.
